I thought yesterday morning was cold.  Mid 30’s this morning and my tent had frost/ice on it.  My water bottles had the first quarter inch of water turned to ice. I did get a couple of great pics of the morning sky!  I warmed up with some oatmeal and got on the road.  Martin was long gone, Mike and Ethan were having breakfast at the restaurant and Jon was still sleeping.  We all were expecting to make Dillion, MT today, just under 70 miles.  I rode off into the cold.  I had bundled up so I was feeling pretty warm.  The problem with being too warm is when you start sweating.  So I was unzipping, zipping, stopping and taking off, stopping and putting back on.  This went on most of the day.  I was either too cold on the decents and too hot on the climbs.  I was putting on a fashion show for the bovine community.

Two passes today Big Hole and Badger.  Both passes were gradual and not too bad.  My legs were not into it today, though. I just could not get enough power out of them, so the climbs were slow.  I made it to Dillion by 3:30, an early arrival time.  I did have a lot to do.  I had to set-up camp, shower (whow stinky), go grocery shopping, do laundry and post blogs.  I found a nice KOA and the desk clerk, Bob, said if I want to share my site with other cyclists I can.  It was a huge site.  I saw Ethan at the grocery store and invited him over.  Ethan had Mike’s number so he texted Mike to come to the KOA when he gets in.  So we split the $22 site 3 ways.  Sweet!

I am sorry but its late and I have to get to bed.  I am in Dillion, MT.
